Rotherham drop-in dates 2026

Drop-in sessions for our Rotherham branch in 2026 will still be held at Greasbrough Community Library, Coach Road, Greasbrough, Rotherham, S61 4PU.
These will still take place every 2 weeks on Mondays from 10.30am – 12.30pm. Telephone support is also available and carers are also welcome to attend any sessions held at our Barnsley branch.

Spring COVID-19 Booster Vaccine

The COVID-19 spring vaccination programme protects those who are at the highest risk. People will be offered an appointment between April and June but you can book online if you know you are eligible at: nhs.uk/get-vaccine

If eligible, you can get protection from a spring COVID-19 vaccination even if you have not taken up a COVID-19 vaccine offer in the past.

It is important that if you are eligible to take up this spring vaccine offer as it will reduce the chance of you becoming severely unwell from COVID-19 this spring and summer.

 

Thousands of positive COVID-19 cases and hundreds of deaths with COVID-19 on the death certificate are still recorded every week in England and significant numbers are suffering the effects of ‘long COVID’.
Those who are eligible for the Spring COVID-19 booster are:
  • Adults aged 75 and over
  • People aged 6 months – 74 years who have a weakened immune system
  • Residents in older adults care homes
