Coronavirus (COVID-19) Important Notice

Important Announcement!

Due to the new government advice regrading the Coronavirus the trustees at BeaconSY have made the difficult decision and in the public’s best interest to temporarily close all face to face support appointments. However, we will still be offering our support sessions between the hours of 9am – 3pm Monday to Thursday via telephone or online until further notice. We will keep you updated on all our social media and website to let you know any changes.

We are now also able to offer telephone and online counselling sessions. Please give us a call on 01226 814012 for any more information or to book an appointment for either the counselling sessions or the support sessions. We are here to help in anyway we can.

Thank you all for your continuous support and your understanding,

All the BeaconSY team.

New NHS 24 Hour Mental Health Helpline!

Statistically one in four of us will be affected by a mental health issue at some point in our lifetime and current uncertainty, pressures and concerns are exasperating this for many.
But help is at hand. A free helpline has been launched, offering support to adults experiencing emotional distress.

Offering confidential help and support 24 hours a day, the helpline will provide a listening ear, emotional support and guidance to adults with new or existing mental health conditions. It will also provide information, advice and support to carers.

The service is available now for anyone registered with a GP in Kirklees, Calderdale, Wakefield and Barnsley.
